One of my favourite music is that from the 50βs and 60βs. Imho I feel that that was the golden age of music. The sound just pours in my heart. Here is an example of how hauntingly beautiful a song can be. I donβt think I will ever hear something as beautiful as this now. But never say never. π€

Yes that’s a major issue too, because too many people these days are ungrateful and have this sense of entitlement with a bad attitude. They can never be satisfied or appreciate the little things, let alone their life being an opportunity to serve God’s plan and gain eternal peace and happiness beyond imagination!
Too many people want and expect things to come to them easy or that taking from others is what life is all about, not about giving. Didnβt Jesus suffer beyond all comprehension for us to have this one chance! So when we hurt or suffer it would be proper for us to remember this truth; and realize that our suffering is temporary not permanent through and because of what βJesus givesβ to us; βthe gift of salvation and eternal life in heaven!β If not for Jesus the suffering will be endless!

True! Pray that God gives us strength and wisdom to always remember his suffering and make the right choice. ππ¦
Yes Elena the world and each one of us need it sorely! ππ¦
John 3:30 β30He must increase; I must decrease. 31The One who comes from above is above all. The one who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks as one from the earth. The One who comes from heaven is above all.β
This Holy Scripture really does put it into perspective beautifully! Amen. π

My mother was always listening to this music and singing many of the ballads of the time too, with her trained soprano voice, so beautifully!
Times changed away from such goodness and quality and over the decades got worse and worse making the world much more of a very disturbed ill place! But we can look back and listen like this and know God is with those of genuine faith; and day by day we can continue on our paths to Him! Amen.
Thanks for the memories and inspiration!
Yes, most parents lived during those times and listen to such good music! Sometimes I wish I lived then too. You are most welcome! You have beautiful memories with your mother. π¦
God help us all! I am grateful that He inspired people to make such music and that I live to listen to it. It is a delight for my heart. π
Yes Elena, it was a more marvelous calmer and considerate time not like the frantic and crazy times now! But at least we can listen to those old masters and vocalistsβ recordings and imagine the times our older family members were actually thriving in and raising their families! But also the world has been up and down throughout history so I guess we must try hard to be thankful for all the good we have, no matter what time period we live in! I just feel that things have changed too much, making it a very sad world now! But we can still find the sunshine if we really want to! Keep the faith Sister! ππΉππππ π
Thankfullness is the answer indeed. ππ¦
ππ¦ Yes it is indeed! Amen. π
