Music Helps To Heal ♥️

When I first heard this song, I think a year ago, I thought I heard one of the most beautiful songs in the world. Now, listening to it again, I think the same. Enjoy a beautiful concert rendition and a studio one! Enjoy the guitar sound and a beautiful poem as only oriental poems can be. ♥️

Dance

I see those vulnerable eyes, they’re as deep as the darkest of oceans
I sense the loneliest heart holding back your fragile emotions
I feel you wanna let go, inside of my arms just know
You’re safe with me

Let’s dance like there’s nobody watching
Sing as if no one is listening to what you’re hearing
Love like you’ve never been hurt before
Try to forget if you can and just dance. 🦋🐬

I’ve known the coldest of nights, lay awake tryin’ to stop myself dreaming
There in the emptiest space in my head the music stopped playing
Right now all I wanna do is lose myself in you and me
Just be ♥️

Autumn Emotion

This is for those who appreciate a good piece of music and the emotions that it brings with it, regardless of the language it is sang in. It is for those who are not Romanian but would come to love beautiful Romanian songs. It is a song about autumn, called ‘Autumn Emotion’ in translation. The lyrics are written by a great poet, Nichita Stanescu and it is sung by a great singer, Nicu Alifantis.

It starts like this, more or less, in my not so great English:

Autumn has come,

Cover my heart with something,

With the shadow of a tree

Or better, with your heart…

🙂

Enjoy!

Rest With Your Dream Inside My Dream

Yesterday I discovered a wonderful poem of a wonderful poet: Sonnet LXXXI: Rest with your dream inside my dream by Pablo Neruda. I was struck by how romantic this can be. It feels like a prayer that you make before going to sleep and this is what I thought I would do. Acquire his book of poems Cien Sonetos de Amor (100 Love Sonnets) and read every night for a hundred days, a poem like a prayer. So that my heart can weep and smile and bleed and feel and be happy and love, my love.

Sonnet LXXXI: Rest with your dream inside my dream

Already, you are mine. Rest with your dream inside my dream.
Love, grief, labour, must sleep now.
Night revolves on invisible wheels
and joined to me you are pure as sleeping amber.

No one else will sleep with my dream, love.
You will go we will go joined by the waters of time.
No other one will travel the shadows with me,
only you, eternal nature, eternal sun, eternal moon.

Already your hands have opened their delicate fists
and let fall, without direction, their gentle signs,
you eyes enclosing themselves like two grey wings,

while I follow the waters you bring that take me onwards:
night, Earth, winds weave their fate, and already,
not only am I not without you, I alone am your dream.
